From Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, exit at Astoria Blvd. Merge on to Tillary St, turn left onto Flatbush Ave. Follow Flatbush Ave for approximately 2 miles to Grand Army Plaza. At GAP, turn left onto Eastern Parkway. Follow Eastern Parkway past the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens on your right, the turn right onto Washington St. Parking entrace for the Brooklyn Botanical Garden will be on the right.

From JFK, follow signs to 678/Van Wyck Expressway north. Follow the Van Wyck approximately 9 miles north to exit 12B, 495/Long Island Expressway west (towards Manhattan). Follow the LIE westbound approximately 5 miles to exit 16W, 278/Brooklyn-Queens Expressway west (towards Staten Island). From here, follow the directions to the hotel below.
By public transportation:
From any terminal, take JFK AirTrain to the LIRR at Jamaica Station (5$ per person). From the LIRR station, take the train to Flatbush Avenue. At Flatbush, exit the LIRR station to street level and hail a taxi (taxi should cost less than 10$ total)

Follow signs to Grand Central Parkway west (towards Manhattan). Follow Grand Central westbound approxiamtely 1/2 mile to exit xxxx, 278/Brooklyn-Queens Expressway west (towards Brooklyn/Staten Island). From here, follow the directions to the hotel below.

Follow the BQE westbound to exit 17, Atlantic Ave. Turn right at light at end of ramp onto Atlantic Avenue. Follow Atlantic Ave for approxiamtely 1 mile, turn right on 3rd Avenue. Turn left onto Union St. Hotel will be on left side of street, between 3rd and 4th Ave.

From hotel entrance, make left onto Union St. Make left onto 4th Ave. Follow past Atlantic Ave, merge left onto Flatbush Ave. Just before the entrance to the Manhattan Bridge, make right onto Tillary St. Merge left onto BQE east. Follow directions from BQE to Beer Garden below.
By subway:
Take the Union St M/R line uptown towards Manhattan/Queens/Forest Hills. Take M/R line one stop to Pacific St-Atlantic Ave. At Pacific St-Atlantic Ave, transfer to uptown Manhattan/Queens/Astoria bound N. Exit at Astoria Blvd. Walk up Astoria Blvd to 31st St. Walk up 31st St towards 24th Ave. At 24th Ave, turn left. Beer Garden will be on right side of street. Approximate travel time is 1 hour.
